This article takes you through a step by step guide on how to set up a discount in Shopify to be able to use tokengated discounts in Novel.

Navigate to the Discounts tab in your Shopify Main Menu
Click Create Discount in the top right corner
Select discount type:
You may choose any of the 4 options (Amount off products, Amount off order, Buy X get Y, and Free Shipping)
Amount off products:
Select Method - Discount Code
Click Generate to create a discount code
Value:
Enter a percentage or fixed amount in the empty field
Purchase Type:
Select One-time purchase
Applies to:
You may choose for the discount to be valid for any product on your storefront or specific products on your storefront.
If you'd like your discount to only apply to Specific Products. Toggle to Specific Products and select them through the search field.
Keep Minimum purchase requirements and Customer eligibility selected to the defaults.
Maximum discount uses:
Set the fields according to the image below.
Active dates:
Set if you'd like.
Click Save
